1. Who we are

EnglEasyPro (engleasypro.com) provides free teaching and learning resources. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your choices are. Questions any time: support@engleasypro.com or the contact form.

2. What we collect

• Account data — your email address, a display name you choose, and a password (stored only in securely hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see it).
• Preferences — whether you opted in to new-resource email updates, and when you accepted the Terms of Use.
• Download activity — which resources your account downloads and when. This powers download counts and helps us understand which materials are useful.
• Network address (IP) — the IP you last signed in from, kept for security and for enforcing our Terms (see Terms §9).
• Contact messages — the name, email, message, and IP you submit through the contact form.
• Technical logs — our hosting and database providers keep standard server logs (requests, timestamps, IPs) for security and reliability.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is the session that keeps you logged in.

3. How we use your data

• Providing the service: your account, downloads, and the admin tools that run the site.
• Emails you asked for: new-resource updates (only if opted in — toggle off any time with the bell icon) and account emails such as password resets.
• Replying to your contact messages.
• Security and enforcement: preventing abuse and applying the Terms of Use.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything unrelated to running this site.

4. Where your data lives (processors)

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (hosted in the EU, Frankfurt region).
• Vercel — website hosting and DNS.
• Resend — sends our emails (EU sending region).
• ImprovMX / Google — mail to support@engleasypro.com is forwarded to a Gmail inbox we control.

Each processor handles data under its own security terms; we share only what each needs to do its job.

5. How long we keep it

Account data, preferences, and download history are kept while your account exists. Contact messages are kept until answered and then periodically cleared. Blocked-IP records are kept while the block is active. If you close your account, we delete your profile data; anonymous aggregate numbers (like a resource's total download count) remain.

6. Your choices and rights

• Email updates — turn on or off any time with the bell icon while logged in.
• Access or correction — ask us what we hold about you or fix your display name/email.
• Deletion — ask us to close your account and delete your data.

For any of these, email support@engleasypro.com from your account's address — we act on verified requests promptly.

7. Children

The site is intended for educators, parents, and learners. Accounts should be created by adults; students should use materials under the guidance of a teacher or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from young children beyond what an account requires — if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, resource files are served through short-lived signed links, and administrative access is restricted at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface small and the defaults strict.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
